Please print out the following forms and send in the Registration Form and fees. New students should also fill out the STEP Parent Volunteer Opportunity Form and Student Photo Release Form. A $20 late fee will apply for registrations received after the first day of classes in September.

Curriculum

Workshop Classes

Classes are for students who are enrolled in private lessons with a STEP teacher.

Workshop classes meet each Monday starting at 4 p.m. at San Marino Congregational Church (2560 Huntington Drive in San Marino, 91108).

Classes include repertoire class, recital time, note reading class when a student is ready, and orchestra and quartets for advanced students.


    4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.

    Violin: Early Book 1
    Violin: Late Book 1-2
    Violin: Pre-Twinkle/Twinkle

    4:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.

    RECITAL TIME FOR EVERYONE

    5:15 p.m. to 6 p.m.

    Violin: Book 2-3
    Violin: Book 4 and above
    Violin: Beginning Theory

    6 p.m. – 6:45 p.m.

    Symphony Orchestra

Parent Orientation Meeting

  • One-time required meeting.
  • Introduces parents to the Suzuki philosophy.
